Hello! My brother just bought a 1LT EV. It has to come with splash guards, but he asked the dealer not to install them just yet. We heard mixed things about how splash guards might affect EV range (mostly from Tesla owners, that's true). He would like to leave them off to maximize efficiency. Do you think is this a good move? Could they really impact a range that significant?

My friend uses Rally Armor mud flaps on his car. They offer excellent coverage and seem very durable. He installed them right after he bought the car, so he can't tell me if they've had any noticeable impact on the range.

If the car came with splash guards I would definitely have them put on, you’re not going to notice a difference with them off other than more dirt and mud from the road splashed on your paint.
