After driving the Equinox EV for a month, I’m happy to report that it’s been a fantastic upgrade from our Bolt EV. The range has been reliable and consistent, and the cabin feels incredibly spacious and comfortable for both passengers and cargo. Driving it has been a smooth and enjoyable experience, making every trip a pleasure.
There have been a few minor hiccups. Early on, we noticed a dash rattle that required a couple of visits to the dealership before it was fixed. The reverse emergency braking system has also been a bit too sensitive, often activating when backing out of the driveway due to nearby curbs or trees. I’ve adjusted the settings by turning off the braking while keeping the warning system active. Another peculiar issue has been with the turn signal, which sometimes flicks to the opposite direction after canceling a turn.
The overall experience has been great. Moving up to the Equinox EV feels like a big step forward, and I’m genuinely enjoying it.
