While driving my Equinox EV 3LT on Route 1, a truck ahead swerved onto the shoulder, kicking up rocks. One rock hit my brand-new car, leaving a dent in the hood, three scratches (two down to the metal), and a chip in the windshield. My insurance company said filing a claim would raise my premiums, so I’ll shop around for a repair. The windshield chips are small for now, but they might crack later. Anyone else had any mishaps like this?
 
I ran into a heavy hailstorm on the first night of a road trip to western Nebraska, and ended up with several small dents on the hood and roof. I was told it's fixable, but the body shops around here are booked for months. I’ve filed a claim and have an appointment set for the end of this month

Ugh that tough, especially with the long wait, how did you manage with the dents in the meantime, did you notice any issues with the car’s performance or safety?
