I’m not a fan of those hefty 21-inch tires. They're prone to damage on rough roads, and the ride can feel a bit rough too. I prefer smaller wheels for a smoother drive and less risk of damage. Give me some 18s or 19s any day! What’s your take on this?

I agree with you. Those 21-inch tires are oversized for me. They can get damaged on rough roads, and the ride can be stiff too. I'd choose the 18s over the 21s any day!

We test drove the vehicle we were considering, and the Equinox was actually my favorite! The i5 came in second in terms of driving experience.

I'm just doing a bit of due diligence here – are there any major drawbacks to the Equinox that I might be overlooking? It seems to be the most affordable of the five after considering deals, rebates, and financing

I have the 3LT and I like the 21" wheels. I don't know where the logic is that says they are prone to damage on rough roads. I don't see how that makes sense. I do know that larger tires will give a smoother ride. A larger wheel will roll smoother over rough roads. The larger wheel also makes sense for EV's because an EV has higher low speed torque and can drive larger wheels.

I get it! Smaller 18-inch or 19-inch wheels definitely offer a smoother ride better durability on rough roads and less risk of damage compared to 21-inch wheels. They also tend to be more affordable and easier on the suspension. If comfort and practicality matter more to you, those smaller wheels are a great choice!

I think what you're saying is exactly the opposite except for being affordable
