The owner manual for my 2025 LT says to "warm up the battery for 20 minutes before driving. This helps to optimize the high
voltage battery temperature before driving." Can someone explain what "optimize the high voltage battery" means and how important this 20 minute warm up is. I generally just start my car and drive off with no problem.

Can someone explain what "optimize the high voltage battery"
It means the battery needs to reach an ideal temperature before start driving. This is important and cold weather.
Warming it up for 20 minutes can help with efficiency and prolong battery life, but if you are not noticing any issues just driving off, you are probably fine. That said, if you ever see reduced range or sluggish performance in the cold, giving it that warm-up time might help! I hope my answer clarifies everything for you. Have a great one.

This is more for when it is cold outside. I think they wrote that in the manual.

Have you noticed any range or power loss without warming up? @charlie seltzer
Since I just bought the car in December, I've only owned it during cold weather, so I have no way to compare its performance during warm weather. (And of course, "cold" is relative. I live in Northern California where it almost never gets below freezing.)
