Hey, everyone! I am curious about what is under the front hood of the Equinox EV in terms of accessing the 12V battery. From what I understand, it is similar to the Blazer EV, which has 4 plastic panels covering the "engine bay".

Does anyone know how the 12V battery access works for a jump start? Are there designated access points, or do we need to remove some panels to reach the battery? Any info would be great!

I am glad I know a thing or two about this...so for jump-starting the Equinox EV, you'll likely need to remove some panels to access the 12V battery, it is similar to the Blazer EV setup.

Yeah, you'll need to remove a few panels under the hood to access the 12V battery in the Equinox EV for a jump start.

Is there any reason why you want to access the battery?

there are no panels to remove to access the 12V jump points on the Equinox. it does not have full closeout panels like the Blazer EV does

Oh you're right. The 12V battery jump points in the Equinox EV are easily accessible under the hood without needing to remove panels, unlike the Blazer EV setup.

This is something I'm definitely going to need to learn! I appreciate you bringing this up. I'm curious if the Equinox EV has any unique features for accessing the 12V battery compared to other EVs. I'd love to see some pictures or a video if anyone has them
