Hey all!!
I read the results of a test between FWD and AWD models of an EV at 75mph. Both achieve a 260-mile range. I wanted to know if anyone from here could confirm these numbers based on real-world driving. I am considering the FWD variant because it feels more efficient to me, but a lot of reviews mention that it is a little bit slower than the AWD. Anyway, I plan to test drive both versions before any decision, but any thoughts from you would help, too. Thanks!

So real-world range for FWD and AWD at 75 mph seems close to that 260-mile mark, from what I've seen. As for speed, many reviews find the FWD a bit slower, but that’s because it's tuned for smoother, linear torque rather than quick acceleration, like in AWD or Tesla-style setups. It will make lot of sense to test drive both

The real-world range might be close to those test numbers, but driving conditions can affect it.

This is the best you can do before making a decision. I like more the AWD variant because of the range. I am not that much into wild acceleration.

I haven’t tested both personally, but I’ve read that real-world range can vary a bit depending on driving conditions. The FWD is usually a bit more efficient, but yeah, the AWD can feel quicker
