’ve been wondering if GM/Chevy will offer over-the-air updates for my vehicle. Has anyone experienced any updates or seen new features added? I did run into a problem initially connecting to Google and Maps, but OnStar helped fix it. After changing my password, I had to reset the Google account in the vehicle, which resolved the connection issue. Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or knows what GM might add in the future.

GM does have OTA updates, but now everything is confusing. At least we know some updates bring new features, while some are just bug fixes. And let's not forget it depends a lot on the trim level we have.

Thanks for the clarification! It’s good to know GM offers updates, though the trim level dependency is a bit frustrating. I’ll keep an eye out for any new features or improvements in future updates.

Haven’t experienced it yet, but glad to hear OnStar helped fix the Google/Maps issue! GM/Chevy have been rolling out over-the-air updates for a while, though the features can vary. It’s likely they’ll keep improving things like connectivity and in-car apps. Hopefully, more updates will come soon and with fewer hiccups!

Glad it got fixed! Sure GM/Chevy updates are hit or miss but hopefully they can keep getting better. To be continued on smoother updates
