Is Equinox a good start EV?

My first EV was a 2020 LEAF - it gave me almost 4 great years as a reliable and economical LOCAL car. Now I have the Equinox EV and I am 100% thrilled with it. A beautiful car that is giving me 4.5 miles /KWh

I am getting a new 2025 Equinox EV

I picked up my 2025 LT on Dec. 13th - seems like availablity here in Gulf Coast Florida is pretty strong. I bought it to get the $7500 tax credit that the moron in the WH wants to get rid of. Quite simply the best car I have ever owned. I am getting around 4.5 miles/Kwh which is close to what...

    2025 LT range

On my most recent charge cycle I went 114 miles on 32% of the battery charge. That equates to 27.2 KWh which pencils out to 4.2 miles per KWh average. For an 85KWh battery that gives me 357 mile range, which is mighty impressive.

    2025 LT range

The Equinox is a whole different level - I couldn't be happier with this car. The LEAF was a great intro to EVs, economical, fun to drive and reliable. I was waiting for a domestic maker to hit the 300 mile sweet spot (and also get the $7500 credit before a certain orange yutz nixed it). I...

    2025 LT range

I got a consistent 4.6-4.7 with the LEAF - a much lighter car, however. If I got 155 miles range on the LEAF that was fine. The Equinox is giving me around 350 which is incredible for a car this heavy. Chevy really did a great job with this car. Love it every day. Most of my driving is...

    How to dodge range anxiety?

Only once with my LEAF - got down to 5% - with the Equinox, I can't imagine it.

    2025 LT range

I am seeing consistent trips averaging around 4.6 Miles/KWh - fairly amazing when you consider the weight of the car. Cannot say enough good things about this EV, my 2nd. I also own a 2020 LEAF Wow! - on a 10 miles trip yesterday got 5.3 - that is truly amazing.
