I just wanted to share my recent experience driving my Equinox EV through the mountains of Mendocino County, California. We're talking some serious inclines here, with grades reaching 8% in some spots. I was honestly impressed with how well the car handled it. I cruised at 70mph on the uphill sections, and even when I had to slow down for those pesky logging trucks, the Equinox EV easily regained speed. The descent was equally smooth, and the adaptive cruise control (ACC) did a fantastic job navigating those tight mountain curves. Has anyone else pushed their Equinox EV to its limits on some challenging California roads?

Thanks for sharing your experience on how the Equinox EV handled your mountain drives that's super helpful! Since I'm seriously considering buying one myself, it's good to know how it performs in those conditions.

Out of curiosity, what tires are you planning to put on it? I'm thinking of going with all-weather tires like the Michelin Cross Climate 2. We live in a hilly area in new hampshire.

Any chance you remember your total regen? Just wondering, since the Equinox seems to handle regen really well.
