Where did those extra 7 horses come from in the 2025 model? I'm betting it's a clever software tune not a full motor swap. GM wouldn't be that quick, right? But has anyone seen official confirmation? Can us 2024 owners expect a software update to unlock that hidden power? Maybe someone with inside GM connections can shed some light on this horsepower puzzle, or has anyone seen any reliable documentation that details the changes?

I’m guessing GM switched to silicon carbide chips in the power control module (inverter). They’re great at getting power to the electric motor, but naturally, they come with a higher price tag. Looks like efficiency has its price
