The Mach E has four different battery modules, each for different ranges, and they don’t cross over with Ford’s other EVs.
GM, however, uses just two modules across all its brands, and if the cells change, they’ll still be compatible. In 2032, GM’s modular approach might save you from scrapping the whole car over a single bad cell, talk about thinking ahead!

If you are looking for an everyday ev with good range and value the Equinox EV is the best choice. But if you prefer a sporty and fun driving experience the Mach-E is for you.

It really depends on what you’re after. If you’re looking for something practical and family-friendly, the Equinox is a solid choice. But if you're all about that tech, performance, and the EV thrill, the Mach-E totally takes the crown. Basically, it’s all about how much driving fun you’re willing to trade for practicality
