Hi! Why is the Equinox EV considered a good start EV? Besides price, what sets it apart? I am switching from a Tesla Model 3 and don’t see a big difference. Both get me from a place to another. What am I missing?

I don't know if the price makes it 'a good start EV'.
You don't miss anything. Just a family car, a larger cargo, and driving performance when you turn of the one-pedal driving. :D

I would call it a good family car instead of a good EV to start with.

The Equinox EV isn’t your typical "entry-level" car (those are usually small and low-range), but it kind of feels like one in the next tier up. It’s a great option for anyone wanting something bigger and more affordable without going all-in on a high-end EV.

My first EV was a 2020 LEAF - it gave me almost 4 great years as a reliable and economical LOCAL car. Now I have the Equinox EV and I am 100% thrilled with it. A beautiful car that is giving me 4.5 miles /KWh

I completely agree with you!
It’s not a tiny little thing to just buzz around town with, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
If I was 25 years younger and 100 lbs thinner…🥴
It feels substantial, and especially comfortable for the price bracket.
We came from a 2007 HHR, so big step up all the way around…!
