Noise when I start driving the car

Hi! What is that noise I can hear when I start driving the car (at slow speed)? I don't like it and I would like it to be turned off. Is it possible?

Mine sings a symphony of clicks, whirs, and clunks, as it enables and disables stuff. It also does that if you shut off and don't plug it in for 60 seconds or so.... just doing its weirdness, I guess. Preconditioning when it is cold is louder than an ICE truck idling, for some reason.

Oh and the slow speed noise is required by the safety regs, it is a pedestrian alert and goes away at faster speeds. I am thinking of changing mine to play low-rider by War.

If it's really bugging you, though, maybe check if there's a setting in the car to adjust the sound or volume of the pedestrian alert. If not, you're just going to have to live with it… or blast some good tunes to drown it out!

It's built in for safety, so there's no way to switch it off. Kinda annoying, but at least you won’t end up scaring someone into the street!
