We’re looking at getting a Chevy Equinox EV, and one of the main reasons is to make it easier for my 87-year-old mother-in-law to get in and out. She uses a four-wheeled mobility walker, and I’m trying to figure out if it will fit in the cargo area with the rear seats upright.
I’m sure folding the seats down would work, but since there will usually be three of us in the car, I need to know if it can fit without sacrificing passenger space.
Has anyone here tried loading a walker into the rear cargo space? How does it fit, and is there a particular way you store it to maximize space?
