Hello, Equinox community! I am new to the forum and I would appreciate your insights on this one. Could someone who has Bolt EV and Equinix EV (or had the opportunity to drive them) highlight the key differences in terms of charging behavior, app features, and convenience features? Thank you a lot!

Hey, welcome to the forum. I might help you with that.

So, let's talk about the charging behavior.
The Bolt can continue to draw power from the EVSE for up to four hours after charging completes, but not the Equinox. It ends the power draw immediately. I find it more efficient.

There is also a difference in the apps for the charging part. The MyChevy app for the Bolt allows you to set a delayed charge completion time but doesn’t offer a target charge level setting. On Equinox, you can set a target charge level but not a completion time. But the Equinox app is better if you want to set cabin temp while preconditioning.

Other stuff would be the nice LED on the charging port for the Equinox, and smoother fast charging.
And if you choose the Equinox, don't cry for Bolt's Android Auto and CarPlay. Equinox’s infotainment system is responsive and offers everything I use.

I hope it helps!
