Essential Accessories for the Equinox EV?

Just got my hands on the Equinox EV and I'm curious if there are any must-have accessories I should be thinking about. I got the portable EVSE, but wondering if there’s anything else - like a tire inflator or something that I should've added to the list.

Has anyone else grabbed an Equinox EV? What accessories are you using or wish you had?

When I got my Equinox EV, I found a few essentials really handy. First, a compact tire inflator was a lifesaver for road trips and emergencies, I recommend grabbing one. I also got all-weather floor mats since they make cleanup way easier, especially with unpredictable weather.

The portable EVSE is great, but if you’re charging at home a lot, a wall-mounted Level 2 charger really speeds things up. You should also, consider a trunk organizer, it’s been perfect for keeping cables, inflator, and other gear tidy.

Great suggestions, thanks! I’m totally sold on that trunk organizer - already had a couple of moments where stuff was rolling around back there, so it's definitely needed. Also gotta check out that wall-mounted L2 charger. I've been using the portable one, but a faster charge would be a total game-changer. Appreciate it!

You don't get an air compressor or tire sealant since your car has self-sealing tires. However, the tow eyelet should have been included.

How so? My car didn't come with that. Should I ask the dealer about?

That's eyelet is not to be used for towing - it is used as a tie-down when on a trailer.

Ceramic tinting should be added to your list as well.

Ceramic tint? Yeah, that definitely sounds worth it. Gotta get that on my list. Keeping the car cool and protecting the interior is a solid move. As for the tow eyelet, I’m not exactly planning to haul a trailer anytime soon, but, now I’m curious. Gonna check if mine’s got one too!
