Hello, drivers! I am looking to buy the first EV for my wife, but I am oscillating between FWD and AWD variants. I read a review that both car variants of the 2024 Equinox hit 260 miles with a full range at 75mph. But some real-world numbers would help more. So, could anyone please confirm these numbers? Thanks!

From what I’ve read, the FWD tends to give a bit more range since it’s lighter with just one motor, but the AWD does add more traction and power. Real-world numbers do seem to vary based on conditions, but if you’re mostly city driving or cruising without rough terrain, the FWD might be the best for range.

I only drove the AWD. Honestly, the FWD probably would’ve been fine for speed, but I’m stoked I had that extra grip during a couple of those snowy storms!
