HUD flashes red when I start the car

Hi!
I own a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse and I don't know why, but the HUD glows red for a moment when I start the car. How is that possible? I don't have a Heads Up Display

Hi! I also own a Traverse without a HUD and noticed the same thing. The red glow happens briefly at startup and when you’re too close to another car. It’s part of the vehicle’s safety alert system, even if you don’t have a full HUD. The seat vibration is another cue tied to this feature.
