What's with the Equinox EV pricing?

Just curious. Why is GM charging so much more for the LT2 trim? It only adds a few features like heated seats and a light strip.

Looks like the price gap between the 1LT and 2LT is a hint - they're probably going to make hardly any 1LTs. The 1LT will likely just be a show-off model for advertising, but they'll mostly stock the 2LT. A lot of car companies have been pulling that move lately, so it’s not exactly a surprise.

I'm getting two Equinox EVs soon, a 3RS and 3LT, both AWD. I think they're a good deal for the price. I expect the price to go down a bit in the future, but not a huge drop. I'm not worried about major problems like the Blazer EV had. The cheaper 1LT model will be basic, but it'll still get you around.
