I am really impressed with then new Equinox 2LT FWD. Compared to my Bolt EV, it’s a whole different experience, roomier, more comfortable, and a smoother ride. I’m averaging 3.7 miles per kWh, even with the AC running in 90+ degree heat. I love the large screens and the overall efficiency, which exceeded my expectations.
Frankly, there are a few things I’m not fond of. The parking assist with braking keeps stopping me unexpectedly when backing out, and Google Maps tends to take me on unnecessary detours. The auto tailgate is a bit too sensitive as well, often activating when I’m just walking past it.
I’m really happy with the car regardless. It feels like the right choice compared to other EVs in its price range.
