How BIG does my home charger REALLY need to be?

My mom got her Equinox EV and trying to figure out the home charger situation. Lots of folks say you need a massive circuit, but is that true? Thinking about daily commutes, winter blues, and all that. Anyone have a good chart or guide that factors this stuff in? My current Volt charges on a wimpy 20amp setup, wondering if that'll cut it for the Equinox...

The Chevy Equinox has an 85kWh battery and the level 2 charger with an 11.5kWh is the standard and it can charge your car anytime. The question would be, how far are you planning to go? a massive circuit is only for DC Fast charging stations and I don't think you need it. but if you want convenient use and fast charging then go ahead and upgrade your circuit.

Not long distance. Just a daily driver. I don;t need the massive circuit, so no need for DC fast charging. I agree, I don't think upgrading the circuit is necessary.
