One-pedal driving on our Equinox

When it’s wet or snowy out, I usually turn off OPD. Don’t get me wrong, OPD’s super handy, but it directs regen braking on the front wheels, which can be a bit tricky when the roads are slippery.

If you’ve got a FWD, it’s a smart move to switch off OPD in those conditions to avoid any unwanted handling problems.
 
I'm used to one-pedal driving now. Are there times when it's better to turn it off to save energy?
The major point of one pedal driving that it generates power when decelerating . When you decelerate it turns the motor into a generator which feeds back into the battery. Overall , it could extend range depending on your driving environment. Not advisable to use one pedal driving in slippery weather because it could cause some instability.
