Hi! I have been thinking a lot about the upcoming 2025 GM EV models and wanted to see what others are planning. From what I have heard, they will likely come with the Tesla SAE charger, though that is not officially confirmed yet. I have also got my eye on the 1LT model, but I am wondering if availability is going to be tight well into 2025.
On the flip side, I am considering if prices might go up in 2025, which makes me think I should act now. But with rumors of lower-priced EVs flooding the market soon, I am torn. Is anyone else planning to wait for the 2025 models, or are you thinking about pulling the trigger on 2024?

The announcement by GM of NACS port support in 2025 is a little vague. While they have confirmed its arrival, the exact date remains unknown. It may not be available in vehicles until late 2025 or early 2026.

Given these circumstances, I am unwilling to delay my purchase. I also want to secure the current tax breaks before any potential policy changes.
